COLD-ROLLED COILS

UNI EN 10130

Cold rolled non-alloy steels of a thickness of less than 3 mm, for bending or moulding, suitable for surface coatings (phosphating, painting, electrolytic coatings, dip galvanizing).

Materials used in applications that require improved strength, rigidity, flexibility and surface appearance for the treatments described above. The fields of application: automotive, metal furniture, household appliances, heating and ventilation, pipes and sections.

MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF SKIN-PASSED PRODUCTS

NOTES: 1 MPa = 1 N/ mm²

1) When the thickness is less than or equal to 0.7 mm and greater than 0.5 mm, the guaranteed max. yield is to be increased by 20 MPa, while for thicknesses less than or equal to 0.5 mm, it is to be increased by 40 MPa.

2) When the thickness is less than or equal to 0.7 mm and greater than 0.5 mm, the guaranteed minimum elongation value should be reduced by 2 units, while for thicknesses less than or equal to 0.5 mm it should be increased by 4 units.

3) The r90 and n90 values are only applicable to products with a thickness of 0.5 mm or more.

4) When the thickness is more than 2 mm. The r90 value is reduced by 0.2.

5) It is recommended that DC01 quality products be used within 6 weeks from the date of availability of the product.

6) Unless otherwise agreed in the order, grades DC01, DC03, DC04 and DC05 can be supplied as alloy steels: (e.g. with addition of Boron or Titanium)

7) For design purposes the minimum Re limit for grades DC01, DC03, DC04 and DC05 can be considered 140 MPa.

8) For design purposes the minimum Re limit for grades DC06 can be considered 120 MPa and 100 MPa for DC07.

9) The maximum Re limit of 280 MPa for DC01 quality is only valid for 8 days from the date of availability of the product

10) In DC06 and DC07, titanium can be replaced by niobium. Carbon and nitrogen must be fully fixed.
